What is an AI Vedic astrologer?
An AI Vedic astrologer combines deterministic astrology calculations with conversational interpretation. In Ritvi, the chart and timing data are computed outside the language model, then the AI reads that existing data to answer questions about themes such as relationships, work, timing and self-reflection.

How Ritvi turns a birth chart into a conversation
The calculation and interpretation layers are deliberately separated: astronomy computes the chart; the AI reads the result.
1. Enter birth details
Your birth date, birth time and birth place provide the inputs needed for a Vedic chart.
2. Compute the Vedic chart
Ritvi uses a professional ephemeris and the Lahiri sidereal ayanamsa to produce the core planetary placements, houses and timing context.
3. Ask a real question
Instead of reading a generic sun-sign paragraph, you can ask about a specific situation and keep the discussion in one conversation.
4. Interpret, do not fabricate
The AI receives chart context that already exists. It is there to explain and synthesize, not to invent astronomical positions.

No. Ritvi is built around a stored Vedic birth chart and timing context. Generic horoscope chat can answer from broad sign descriptions; Ritvi is intended to answer from the user's computed chart.
Does the AI calculate the planets itself?
No. Ritvi separates chart computation from language generation. The astronomy layer computes the chart, and the AI interprets the resulting data.
Can I ask about love, career or timing?
Yes. Those are common conversation themes, but the output should be treated as reflective guidance rather than guaranteed prediction or professional medical, legal or financial advice.
